Yeah. You can get anywhere from 0 - like 7. I have around 5. They're not as bad as they sound, you can ignore them. If you have over 3 or 5 dead pixels you can send it back.
If they are stuck (show up on dark backgrounds) then you can download a video that can stimulate them back into working. This might work. It's not guarenteed.

I bought a PSP 3 days ago and it had a dead pixel. So i just went back to teh store and they gave me a whole new value pack and even tested it for me if this one didnt had any dead pixels.
@People with dead pixels...did you try the Dead Pixel Fixer Movie? Just put this movie on your PSP and turn loop on and let it run for an hour or 12. It helped for some people...just try it you have nothing to loose. http://www.psp-vault.com/modules.php...=getit&lid=355 |

Well you can fix stuck pixels with that movie. They can be stimulated into working again and they only show up on dark colors. Dead pixels are just gone... and show up all the time.

I figured this was the best place to post this, so here I go.
Whenever my screen goes black, like in loading times, a small rectangle of off-black greyish squares right underneath the usb plug are visible on the screen. Almost like the sillouhette of the plug itself still inside the PSP. These pixels still work fine, as I don't see any off-color squares when I'm playing a game, or whenever there's any colors displayed. It's only when the screen is black. And, when I turn it off, they go away. It's actually starting to creep me out. I've used three different stuck pixel movie things, but they're not stuck, since they do change colors. There haven't been any magnets on the screen, nor have I dropped it. What in the hell are they? |
