Default PSP wi-fi hot spotting

I'm not too familiar on how to get my PSP to connect to a wireless internet connection.

Say if I go to the local wi-fi enabled Starbucks, once I get there how do I set up my PSP to connect?

I wanna test out the web browser on 2.0 right when I install it, theres a Starbucks like 2 minutes from my house.

When you go there, I'm pretty sure they'll have the wi-fi address, and when you go into your PSP, make a new connection, and fill in the information.

go into starbucks . go to network settings. choose infrastructure mode. make a new connection. edit the connection. on WLAN settings pick scan. u should see TMoble. pick that. on adress settings select custom and enter your dns. test the connection and save it. now when u start wipeout pure use that connection.

Default WiFi

Hey there guys, this is my first post! YAY!
Anywho, I'm not sure if I have already posted this because I was on the computer very late last night :x .
Im from the UK and still waiting for my PSP (3 weeks to go!) and am wondering :
A) Can I play via the wireless with someone in the same area as me (without and internet connection)
B) Could I play via a USB lead to the computer to play online
C) If no to point B, which wireless routers do you guys reckomend (Cheaper the better!)?

Spank you all very much....

steady on mate, tried the search function and no joy. Also can't find linksys in the UK so do you guys reckon the following will work alright?

http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/sto...uct&sku=886496

it says it works on 802.11b devices so that should do the PSP shouldnt it?

Forgive me for not knowing the ins and outs of wireless networks.

Mike

See if you can find a D-link one. Just as good as Linksys, and probably cheaper.
