Default adding folders etc

can anyone explain the folders in the psp,
I have linked up via usb, if i browse the drive, in my case (F) it lists, music, picture, psp, video
if I drop an image into the picture folder it doesnt show on the psp, the same with music, but it works with video if i drop an mp4 etc into it.
if i open up the psp folder, it lists a music folder and photo, i can drop stuff in these and they show OK, can anyone tell me what the difference is, I have also created new folders in these, cars, films, music video etc etc, they show up OK, but when i go to move stuff over from my pc via psp media manager it moves it over, but not into the chosen folder i:e cars, it creates its own folder, named whatever it as called on my pc ??, im not copying the folder over, just the contents, but it still lists it as the same name of the folder on my pc ???, I have to browse the drive again via the usb, move the stuff into the folders I have made then delete the folder it created its self ??
hope you follow that,
sorry its so long winded, im running the latest offical software updates.
cheers
steve

I'd suggest not using Media Manager, it's pretty useless. As for the folders, I think they used the ones that don't work for you in older firmwares.
