Default Shuffling Music

Hi,
I recently put all my music (each song MP3 128 kbps) onto my 4gb pro duo. The songs are all separated into Artist groups. When I hit the shuffle function, it merely goes to the next song in the list (Doesn't shuffle at all). When I hit group mode, it only plays the songs in that specific group. The only way the shuffle function works is if I have this group mode on, but that only shuffles within that specific group. If someone could help me I would greatly appreciate it. I have a PSP Fat with 3.90 M33-3 Custom Firmware. Thank You.

I think that it changes the order of the songs in the list so it looks like it is not shuffling but it is... this means if you like some songs more than others you can turn shuffle on and off untill the ones you dislike are at the end

no but here is the problem, it acts like the songs are not being shuffled. For example I have an Aerosmith Group with 4 songs in it. When I use the shuffle option, I hope that when I hit the R button to go to the next song it may go to a random song in another group. Instead what happens is that when I hit the R button when the Shuffle function is on, It will merely go to the next Aerosmith song in the list.
