Interestingly, those with custom firmware psp's, have the ability to write to flash without any/or with corrupted -firmware, via a recovery menu. Maybe sony could have learned something from the hackers. I bricked my PSP and restored it with a flash backup i had saved on my PC. With official firmware this isnt possible
File Details-Pandora-s-Ultimate-Magic-Stick-Installer-PSP-Homebrew-Applications - Dunno if that one will work, i used a different one. All my favourites have been vapourised over the weekend along with my OS, dunno where i got my files from. Other members may or may not know; I see you approve of psplayers familar useful input Peace |

Thanks for the link - I guess this is an option for down the road. I have a meeting later in the week which is close to SONY's office - will probably drop in and see what they can do.
As for psplayer - useless twat - I've never quite understood why people with nothing to do have to post random comments that are of no benefit to anyone - you come to forums to get solutions and advice, not to have to read through rubbish. |

Yeah definately an option for 'down the road'. If you can grab an executive to pull strings or whatever. that would be cool.
Just be aware that custom firmware is far better than the official firmware in many respects. It retains the original functions of the official firmware as well as having perks. Im a huge advocate of it, as you can probably tell As for your final comment, i guess we are of rare breed ![]() Made me LOL Peace |
