Default dvd onto psp

i'm sure this question has been ask a thousand times, but please can any one help me with my daughters psp as i don't have a clues in what to do with it, as to the resecpt to putting dvd films on it........ i understand that you have to convert dvd to an mp4 format, i have tried psp video 9 but i got picture but no sound...... is there any other free version or download that i can use? please help me get over this hurdle i have managed to get music and pictures and get connected to the internet and now i'm stuck at this one
please help me!

PSP video 9 FAQ/DVD to PSP tutorial

Check the tutorial Monkey Business made. It may be of some help to you if you havent seen it already.

Or you can buy a PSP video recorder and record directly to your memory card... I have one of these things and do not use it but it can do all maner of cool stuff dircect from a video source.
