As i said in the other thread the connection LOOKS the same. The connections on the phat cannot output video anly audio. It will not work.

iRShell includes an application called 'RemoteJoy'. This lets you hook up your PSP to your computer via USB and (in short) allows you to use your computer screen aswell as your PSPs.

Need a homebrew enabled PSP though :P

Hope this helps

Oz,

If you want just a slimmer PSP (without changed hardware) you can screw off the covers and replace them with the skinnier ones. It's a possibility.

That would not work. As the battery for the phat is bigger and the componens inside are probably different aswell. Well partially

Its different hardware - motherboard, bits etc. ITS LIGHTER and SLIMMER. This is due to them redesigning it to compete with the DS Lite. the new feature were implemented so it was better. the changes were with hardware. Its not like sony forgot to include the software with the phat. It like 3 and half years old and the slim is only 6 months old or so. Sony redeveloped the PSP.

Sell your phat and pay extra for a slim, thats ur only option

Make sense?

Like others have said, that's 100% impossible, completely different hardware, I've seen every inch of the PSP Phat and pictures of the PSP Slim's insides, nothing looks similar inside of them.

Also, like PSPlayer said, the ports are completely different, I guess they KINDA look the same because they both have the headphone jack and a slot next to it, but the Phat's slot is much bigger than the Slim's.
