is there any way to access internet without a wireless router? such as connecting through usb?

As it stand I do not believe that one can access the internet without using WIFI... I am sure at somepoint some gizmo will become available though.

I've had heard somewhere tht there was a way to connect without a router, but i doubt it's possible.

Does the PSP have a IrDA connection? In an early review I read that it does, but no one seems to talk about it. Either because it doesn't have one, or maybe because IrDA is semi-useless. I don't know.
