Quite useful, stickied and maybe you could edit the post if other error codes pop up.

Default Error Code 80020148

According to the list this means an "Unsupported PRX type". Can someone explain this to me? What is a "PRX type"? How do I fix this problem? When I tried to update my firmware from 3.71 to 3.95, I got this error code when I tried to run the update on my machine.

Was the firmware 3.71 or did it have letters after it like m33 or oe???

If not i may have to edit to add the new meaning aswell.

So if you were trying to upgrade to OFW (Firmware without m33 after it) then that may be your problem. Not 100% sure though. But that is all i can think of

Default New Error Code

Alright, now I'm getting a different error message. It says "The system configuration of this PSP system does not appear to be correct. The update cannot be completed. (DRNFFFFFFD7)" Any ideas?

Nope. I have checked the original source and there is nothing for that code. I have added a new section at the bottom for codes which we know but dont have a meaning yet. (Well not one that we know of) So if anyone else has any even if they dont know what they mean just tell me and i will put them in.
