You need to be on custom firmware to adjust your CPU settings.

Boot up your PSP as normal.

Press the select button once it has booted, you should get an onscreen menu appear. (Called M33 VSH Menu)

Use the left side pad up and down keys to highlight the desired option and the left and right keys to change the settings.

Once set to the desired settings scroll down to Exit and press X

Your done!

PS: Forgot to ask, what you adjusting the CPU settings for? May be able to advise on what works and what doesn't etc...

Really your going to need to be on the latest custom firmware which is 3.90 M33 - 2 at the time of writing this.

Your on 3.51 at the moment, are you sure it isn't 3.51 M33 version? Go to system settings on the PSP and scroll down to system information, what exactly does it say. You have to be spot on or the advice given by the forum members and your actions could render your PSP useless.

If your on M33 it's gonna be quite easy to do.

PS: You want to be on 3.90 M33 - 2

OK, your on what's called OFW. Or Sony firmware to be more accurate.

You need to be on CFW custom firmware so you can adjust your CPU settings.

Easiest way to do this is to get someone with a Pandoras battery and Magic Memory Stick and upgrade it that way. I think I am right in saying that you can do it other ways but it's hassle and time consuming and risky.

I'm in Kent, England if you're near me drop me a message and we can meet up and I'll convert it for you. Alternatively, you can send me your PSP via courier or recorded delivery with return postage paid and I'll do it that way.

I'm on MSN too so if you do want to go it alone I will be on hand to assist if it all goes belly up.

Let me know what you want to do.

PS: You want to be on 3.90 M3 - 2
