Put the card in your psp and format it with that... if you have formatted it already using ur pc then you cant lose anything... then just ignore the scan and fix message and dont do it or you will probably lose the data again lol

When you turn your PSP on does the power light come on for a few seconds then turn on with nothing appearing on the screen... If so then your psp is bricked... That basically means the psp is as useful as a brick.. If you buy a pandoras battery or make one yourself and a magic memory stick then you can unbrick it. If you click the link in Kernel Kevs Sig then you will have a tutorial on how to do it... Alternatively if you know someone who has CFW then may already have a Pandoras Kit. If they do then i am sure they would let you borrow it or unbrick it for you..

Please can you answer some questions so we can help.
1. Does your PSP start up ok? (Can you see this? Google Image Result for http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/7/7a/XMBPSP.jpg ) 2. Have you recently upgraded the firmware? 3. Have you been in to the recovery menu recently? 4. If answer to Q1 is yes, then try to upgrade your PSP to the latest firmware.

The latest firmware is here and find out how to install it aswell.
PlayStation.com If you PSP is bricked it mean its dead so therefore unable to switch on so therefore unable to upgrade. |
