Default 'Saving the PSP'??

I just came across this article and immediately felt confused. I have been a long time owner of a PSP and was never under the impression that the PSP needed to be "saved". I do know that the DS is outselling the PSP, but this article just seems overly harsh on the PSP.

GameAlmighty.com - Saving the PSP

What do you guys think? Am I completely out of the loop?

The author of this article is clueless. The PSP is doing great, admittedly not as good as the DS, but what is?

well think about it there are really only 2 handheld's on the market, the ds and the psp, one is gonna do better than the other and each has its fans. i personally own both.
