You can't damage a Sony PSP batteries charge and discharge rate from charging or playing games at the same time.
These batteries are smart batteries and will simply charge at a slower rate when the PSP is on AC power and being used. All this being said, those Sony lookalike batteries from Asia do not appear to be that smart. I have had a few that say they are full after a 10 minute charge and some that charge forever and then shutdown after 10 minutes usage. Moral of this story, don't buy cheap batteries. If you pay peanuts, you'll get peanuts. ![]()
