Hi I'm new to the psp world. But its wonderful to be a part of it!!
The problem is that my psp isnt displaying any of the folders it's supposed to (e.g., picture, video, dcim, music, etc.) I tried it with 2 memory stick duos and the computer can't identify ANY contents stored on the memory sticks. So when i open my removable disk drive AFTER turning on USB Mode on psp...it seems empty! ![]() Previoulsy this did not happen...i could transfer files to and from psp. Someone tampered with my psp slim (Ver 3.60) recently and since then I can't transfer data either from my computer to psp or the other way round!! Any help would be highly appreciated...thanks a lot! ![]() |

Try re-formatting your memory stick with your PSP. It's somewhere in the settings. This should fix your folder problem.
Make sure you back up any data you have on your stick that you don't want to lose before you do this though as your stick will get wiped clean. |

VAMP don't get angry I'm just kidding
I use to have the same problem, the way to backup is by using NERO to burn the data to CD. With NERO the folder is appear. Burn the data to CD and format the memory.

Your issue may be with the way your PC is reading the card via the PSP. If you have a card reader then see if you can read the data on the card that way.
Alternatively, if you can elaborate on the tampering bit I may be able to help you? ![]()
