Hi there ppeople, i bought a used psp from a guy who was using it for photography. He got it imported at the end of feb and everything seems fine. I have had a look through the threads to see if anyone can anwer my questions but have not found anything so here it goes.
It has 3 dead pixels, is this fairly normal, does'nt bother me cause you can only see them on a black screen. I know there was a problem with early square buttons and mine does not seem to have a problem. HOWEVER it is softer than the other 3 buttons. it does not stick or anything but does everyone else notice that the square button is slightly softer than the others? thanks geoff |

I haven't heard anything about the square button being soft. Do you mean physically soft or really sensitive?

I wouldn't worry about it unless it interferes with your gameplay. It should be fine. I'd watch out if it gets stuck or something.

OK, yes its normal. And, now that you mention it, my square button is softer than the rest. But i wouldn't have noticed it if you didnt say something.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. The sensor that reads the button-presses is as FAR away from the square button as possible. It's almost under the right trigger. The relays are more sensitive for it because it takes slightly longer for the signal to travel to the sensor, then to the processor, then the screen.
