What do you mean "if there's nothing on it"? Are you talking about a cable connecting it to the internet? It doesn't need one. You can connect to the internet via wi-fi. If you have a wireless connection at home, you can use that to access the web. Also, if there is a hotspot somewhere, such as a coffee shop (StarBucks) you can do it there for free.

Correct. Your PSP must be near a "hotspot" in order to connect to the internet. The good thing is that hotspots are popping up everywhere now. I know where I live there is one at every Starbucks, at my school campus, at the mall I go to and even at a couple of McDonald's.

Its real hot. There are like heaters and radiators everywhere! The placce itself is unbearably warm, and they force you to wear a sweatshirt on.
NAH im just playing with you. In singapore, hotspot places have a sign that says (Wifi Surfing) They dont look any different actually, you could ask the waitress/workers of a particular place whether they are wifi enabled. but yea, it woudnt really look any different. |

 Stop messing with him, lol. You can't see a hotspot. If a coffee shop has one, they'll have a sign or you can just ask.
Having a hotspot just means that that location or store has an wireless internet connection that anyone can use if they have a wi-fi enabled device, such as the PSP. Most of the time it's free, but sometimes you have to pay. Depends on who is providing the connection. I know here, it's free at McDonald's, Starbucks, Barnes and Boble, my entire school campus, etc. so I have plenty of places to get online. ![]()

I have a few questions regarding PSP and online multi-player gaming:
1) How will it work? 2) Will it be free like DS, or will there be a flat monthly fee charged, (or on game basis!?). 3) I'm importing a USA PSP, will I still be able to get online with it in the Uk? 4) Will I be able to play multi-player games with UK PSP owners via wi-fi LAN? 5) Will it matter what combination of region PSP and software for multi-player LAN gaming? |
