Default I broke it =( can anyone help?

I've had my PSP slim for a couple weeks and have treated it like a baby. Earlier today I dropped it about two feet off the ground. It turned off and so I picked it back up and the system is just running slow. It takes about ten seconds to switch from one option (videos, picture, games, etc.) and it loads slow and then freezes. The screen also seems to flicker/ have lines go through the screen when I first turn it on.

I've tried resetting it to default settings, restarted it, take on the battery, and even just let it sit for awhile, but quite frankly I have no idea what I'm doing. Being as it's from overseas (Japanese; Rose Pink) and hacked, I don't think Sony can fix it for me and I don't have the money to buy a new one. I'm completely heart broken and was wondering if anyone has any idea or solutions. Is it a gonner or can I replace a part?

Thank you for your time and your help,
Amanda

I've got no idea what's wrong with it, but I'd give Sony a call. They probably won't help you but you never know... Is that the slim?

Got your receipts? Take it back to where you bought it and don't tell them about the dropping incident...

yeah the impact of being dropped is devastating to a PSP espescially a slim PSP. With a dropped PSP there is really no telling what component inside is the one that was damaged, without buying a replacement board, wifi card, and everything else, and replacing one at a time, to determine the culprit. I would Honestly call sony tell them its jacked up. It should still be under its 1 year manufacture warranty, if they say they will replace it, try and update to OFW before sending it in that way they dont try and blame you for any damage and refuse to fix it.

How long have you left the battery out of it for?

Try leaving it out over night of even a couple of days then try it again

I had posted a possible fixed. Then it dawned on me later. That i had used a pandora battery on someones psp who had similar problems to yours. After that it started working fine.

So get a Pandora battery and magic Memory stick and Install CFW 3.71 M33 or 3.80 M33

Good luck
