Can anybody help me with this problem. I had to replace the board that connects the PSP to the wireless connection. So my MAC address is different than what the original PSP wireless card had. That is the first part of the info.
The second part is when I look at the PSP system info, it shows the original MAC address info. What that means to me is that my PSP is still has the original MAC address stored in my PSP and I think that when the PSP is trying to connect to the wireless connection, it is using the original card's MAC address instead of the new card's MAC address. How do I get the PSP to recognize the new card's MAC address? Need an expert here. Thanks in advance for your help. ScottM5 |

Both the wi-fi board and motherboard have a MAC address. That’s why you can still see the original MAC address. For the psp to connect to the internet or ad-hoc, both the MAC addresses must be the same. Have a look at this N00bz! - WiFi MAC Address Fixer. It’s a MAC address fixer made by the “Noobz team”. Im not sure if it works or not, as I’ve had no need to use it. but it’s worth a try.
