im a newbie on here so im sorry if im repeating what others have already asked but,
Which is better us version or japanese version and i know the jap one will play british umds but it has older firmware what does that mean also someone said the screens arent as good on jap ones? Please help me as i really want one but dont know enough about them and i need help! |

You should get a Japanese version with (at most) firmware 1.5. The only difference is what type of movies you can play. If you live in Europe you can play movies when they come out if you have a Japanese PSP.

I don't know about the manual but the firmware is the software that the PSP uses to operate. almost like the Operating System for your computer.

A european PSP won't come out till September (at least). A Japanese PSP and european PSP can do the exact same thing, but their manuals are in different languages.
