Default M33 FirmWare Safe?

I'm getting a psp this tuesday and was thinking about custom firmware because I've always been the kid who comes to school playing games on a crappy palmos3 and the guy who networks n64 games on school computers.

Anyway I do not want to risk bricking my psp, I do not want to lose the ability to get official updates and I do want want to lose any features or end up with bugs.

What can m33 do?
Is it safe?

Throw in any info you know about it.

every thing offical can and more
you MUST FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS EXACTLY
never update offical
the easest and safest is to do the universal V3 unbricker
