Default and I BRICKED!

Wow, I bricked my PSP, and cant recover. I had 3.71 m33-4 on it, and bricked it hard! only green light comes on now, I still have, my Pandora Battery, but know I have no way to make a stick now, my PC doesnt have a mem card reader on it!

Cant you access the recovery menu?

Hold the right trigger down whilst turning the psp on.

Mem card readers are dirt cheap, or if you got a camera that takes the same, you can use that.

no i messed it all up, I overwrote my flash, then in my attempt to recover, I tried making another stick by accessing the Flash folder of the card using the PSP, it went thru the whole process of making the stick, but I guess it didnt do it right or something, so now its fully bricked instead of partially bricked. I tried making a new stick using my neighbors PC cause his has a card reader, but it wouldnt work for some reason, so now I am working on it again. I think it was cause part of the program I use to make the stick has to extract some file .rar, but his computer doesnt have winrar, so I am putting it on a disk and installing it on his computer than I will try again. Hopefuly the whole formatting the stick with a PSP part isnt too important! oh hey thanks for the mention in your tutorial by the way. Thats the program I am using again, i think the other problem was I burned the program to disc and took to my neighbors house instead of just downloading it from the net onto his PC, so who knows I will figure it out though.

Nah its not, just make sure you got the folders you need and nothing else.

I did say that messing with the flash is a risky thing to do...

I know and as soon as i overwrote the files I pictured your reply about it and then it hit me.... "ahhh crap, I forgot to back up the flash first!".....lol. Anyways I am back in business now though so I am good. I got her back on 3.71 m33-4, now I am just going thru the slow process of putting all my stuff back on it. Needless to say the first thing I did once I got it running again was back up the flash!...... lol
