Exclamation PSP doesn't see WPA network

I just got a new Belkin wireless router and set it up to use WPA. All of my computers see the network, and can connect just fine. However when I was going to set up my PSP it said that there were know wireless networks detected. I was sitting a couple of feet from the router. My PSP has FW 3.8. I even tried to enter the info manually, but it didn't work.

But I use a wpa network on the same router....
I'm getting a psp on the 15th could this end up a problem for me? The main reason I'm buying a psp is for the internet

I dont know if this will work for you or not, but my router and PSP will do this sometimes and all I do is unplug my router for about 30 seconds then I plug it back in and try again, and it will detect it then for some reason.

nope, I tried restarting the router and it still won't detect it. I know that the PSP can handle the security settings. Also my xbox can see it and can connect just fine.

hmmm, maybe your wifi card on your PSP went bad. if you go somewhere that you know has wireless, say like a library, or a internet cafe, can you detect their network? I would try that, just to see if maybe its your wifi card or not, before you go and spend money on a new wifi card. If you detect their wifi then its a problem with either your router or the settings on the router. Still kind of puzzleing though how only your PSP cant detect it.

I think WPA is a little touchy to be honest.

Switch the security on the router to WEP.

Seriously, if someone wants to hack your WEP key, then chances are they know how to do WPA aswell.
