Memory questions

I shop on Ebay all the time, but yeah there could be fakes. Try the Sony store, Wouldn't they have fair prices cause its theirs. No retail costs?

Got the 1 gig and working fine. Its an original I got on ebay for $13.95 tax and shipping included. Im gonna try to get a 4 gig for less than $30 just waiting around.

hey i'm new here .. can anyone help me out? (i sound like a complete newb lol )
I bought an 8GB SONY memory stick and i tried to put stuff on it from my laptop .. the thing is that it didnt open it only said FORMAT first
and when i did .. i didnt notice that it decreased the memory .. now its only 3.52 T___T
so anyone have any idea what to do to make it go back to normal ?

plz reply asap .

note: i couldn't format it from the psp only from the laptop

I think thats supposed to be some kind of face thingy and he means he formatted his 8gig and is only showing 3.52 gigs (4gig)

what i meant to say was that the laptop automaticly formated it to the capacity of 3.52GB so it limited it and i want to make it 8GB

haven't bought it from the bay or anything .. its from a local store
the memory stick itself isnt a san-disk like the other memory stick i got
its like a stick for cameras or something but it works for the psp aswell

my main Q was .. how will i be able to make the memory stick's capacity 8GB ?

I would take it back and show them its only holding half its capacity, and get the new one and only use it in your psp.

Maybe your laptop hasnt got support for the 8gig sticks or something.
