Default PSP slim keyboard?

Hi,

I recently discovered that there was a such thing as using a IR wireless keyboard on the old PSP's and thought that it was really neat. I just bought my first PSP, the new slim version. I realise that there is no IR port, but then again it may not be a bad thing because you can use any USB keyboard now with a USB 1.5 adaptor. Does anyone have any info on if there would be a such thing? would I need to go all this downgrading, homebrew stuff?

Thanks,
Brandon

Im suprised the T9 input hasnt been put on in the new firmwares.

T9 input is when you press the button with the letter on and then go to next letter, and the device guesses what word you mean by the possibilities of the words matching in its dictionary.

KKKKKK i know what to do, u need to buy a usb splitter which turns one usb int 5 or more. the splitter will be made for a computer with a male plug used to plug into a usb on a computer. usb 1.5 adapter is wrong thats a much more expensive and complicated way. buy a female to female usb plug i have found a website selling them for $5.00.

Google Image Search
ADP-USB-AAFFlarge.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.ntcdistributing.com/products/usbcon.
htm&h=299&w=750&sz=36&hl=en&start=3&um=1&tbnid=qv4 JTDIU1k5G6M:&tbnh=56&tbnw=
141&prev=/images%3Fq%3DP/N:%2BADP-USB-AAFF%26svnum%3D10%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%
26client%3Dfirefox-a%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-USfficial%26hs%3DB6s%26sa%3DN

I know this is long but copy and paste it and i know it says google images but it wont be an image. the reason why it says that is cuz i found it under images.

plug the keyboard int the splitter. then get an adapter which plugs ur psp into a computer, and plug that into ur psp know use that female adapter to conect male to male usb. (warning make sure the keyboard u buy is a usb keyboard that recuries no software) (warning if u want to use a mouse on a psp slim, Make sure its usb and requries no software)

For the perfect psp slim setup buy the fallowing.

1. two usb female adapters
2. psp small usb to regular size usb cord/adapter
3. usb 5 way splitter
4. logitech usb keyboard
5. logitech usb mouse
6. usb webcam (lots of modding required took me days) [chotto shot is meant for psp but its all in friggen japanese and eyetoy will also work without modding]
7. mouse pad (duh)
8. psp headset with remote (online gameing)
9. a stand so its easy to do stuff

(warning, dont buy any wireless keyboards or mice, psp slim is not capable of transmitting a signal)
tip see if u can buy a usb keyboard that comes with a mouse.

some mice dont work with psp logitech will most likey work.

Tip 2 some keyboards come with a laptop style mouse (the screen thing) or an arrow button will also act like a mouse too. take ur time buy ur keyboard.
