Do i need to buy anything else to play? other than a PSP or a game?

Just a psp and a game is the basics for fun.... everything else is just options....

I would always invest in a decent case for protection of the psp.

If your going on extended plane flights then an extra battery could be useful.... try combining both a case and the battery... i have an Intec ally case with built in extra battery which I use on long haul flights.

Anti scratch flimsey screen protectors are another thing some people MUST have.

there are so many bits and bobs that you might find useful but at the moment just the unit and some games is a GREAT start.

thx lol , u gues right about the planes , i am going in a plane
But don't i need a memory card? i never saw a PSP memory card selling at the store lol

You need a Memory Stick if you wanna have game saves and other stuff like movies, pics and music on your PSP. At the very least I'd recomment a 32 MB stick if you wanna save your games. :wink:

I'd recommend at least a 1gb, then you can store music & videos on it. If you've got the cash then you can go for an 8GB one I think.

The unit should come with a 32mb card anyway... that is enough to play games and stuff on.... when you start puitting music and the odd video clip you will find that this card will be way too small... but it does depend what you want to do with your PSP.... at the moment just playing games and such you have all that you need... as and when you start finding short fallings is when you should start planning what you neeed next.
