Hey guys,
If you want to mount your PSP in the car this is the way to go: http://www.arkon.com/pspmount.php http://www.arkon.com/fmtransmitter.html The radio transmitter sounds great. Its like a movie theatre in my car.

hmmm this is an advert and as such I wanna kill it but it is a valid item that some may want so it can stay.
Hiya Adam.... guess it should work for UK radio's etc as the frequency scale is the same in the UK, US and Canada... as for the talk about the Phase Lock Loop (PLL) this is OLD technology that we used to have with transceivers back in the 80's. My only concern is that if your car was badly supressed you might pick that up on your Fm wave and then play it out on the car speakers.... like a bunch of reving clicks really... all modern cars should be fine though. Des  |

One of these mounts has already been posted somewhere in this forum. And I'll repeat in here what I said there.
Do you really want your $250 + tax piece of equiptment hanging by a suction cup from your windshield?!?!?! I don't think so. If you crash, not only will you have to pick up what's left of your PSP from the road, but most likely they cause of the accident will be pinned on you because of the PSP that used to be hanging from your windshield. The chair mounted one seems better, but i want to make a mount for the dash. I wanna make it fit just about any car, or make a different one for certain cars. |

I've decided on where to mount my PSP to my car. It's going to be on top of my dash. I have a '95 Ford Mustang (No, it's not a GT
) I'm going to take out in dash clock and put a stand in its place. Something with a charger built in. I also need a stereo with an Aux-in in the back to make it better looking. Who wants some cord to be hanging down in front of your dash? Might need to make a small hole in it for the headphone jack. I might also have to make a bracket for the stand to attach to. I'll post pics of before and after install. |

I bought a product just like the one posted on the link. But I didnt use the suction cup on the window. I just screwed it into my ash tray. It sits right in front of my radio (like where a GPS screen is located). I wouldnt advise using your psp in your car other than music if you are driving. I tend to pay to much attention to the movie and not the road.
