Default PSP Car Mount question?

I currently have a Arkon Cell phone mount in my car already (Pontiac GTP) and was thinking the base was universal mount. As in, I can pop off the Cell phone holder part, and snap in a larger holder that fits the PSP? The cell mount looks like this:

And it appears I just can get the following, and use the current mount, that is already set up on the car (I use it for my Ipod &/or my cell phone):

Whata think? It looks like they use identical bases, so would be a 3 second install......

my holder that I used to have was able to spin round and alter for different sizes, I could fit my PSP or my mobile phone in it, check if yours is adjustable.
