I'm a DJ so I need expensive headphones but the new ones I'm looking at are only around £80 and they block almost all exterior sound and are ovcourse ear-drum-busting!!

why would you need that? you'll make yourself go deaf, I'm sure my hearing isn't 100%, just because of listening to music loud while I sleep, and blasting Kenwood 6X9's really loud in my tiny Micra.

Because you have to beat map songs together and if you can hear a lot of exterior noise (I'm sure you know it's very loud in a club :lol then it's aot harder!!

yeah I've had a go at mixing, I wasnt brilliant but I did do some nice mixes every once in a while (not in a club or anything)

Get some Sennheiser CX300. £35 and you won't find better quality for under £60. Trust me, I have owned a lot of earphones and I am a bit of an audiophile.
