Im completely new to my psp and know nothing about the hundreds of accessories that are availiable so please bear with me..
ops: I want to be able to put episodes, albums etc on my psp and i understand i will need a memory stick duo, usb lead and a file (mp4) converter to do so. Game sell a 2gb sandisk duo stick for £99 however on ebay ive seen 4gb sticks from u.s.a, hong kong for less than that. Are these compatible with the uk psp's? Are all these "duo" sticks the same quality or does "sandisk" mean faster proccess speeds or have a distinct advantage over other brands? Whats the best software to use to transfer/convert files etc to my psp? Sorry about these basic questions but ive gotts start somewhere  cheers |

Any "Pro Duo" or "Duo" memory stick is compatible with any PSP.
Sandisk is just the company that makes the memory sticks. And out of the "Duo" and "Pro Duo", the "Pro" just means it transfers data faster. As for software: PSP Video 9 is one of the best (free) MP4 movie converters. Anything else you want to know, I'll be glad to answer.

yeah, i recently bought three memory sticks, which i did not know at the time were "fake". i should have because it was so obvious, but you know, i was exited to have gotten my psp finally. Anyway, I am keeping two of them because even though they are cheap knock-offs, they still work and actually are 4GB (not a 2GB card with 4GB written on it). The third was DOA, so i'm gonna get my money back.
Anyway, just look out for the cheap knockoffs.
