Default microphone on psp

If someone could come up with a driver for a usb mic, we might be able to get Skype to port over a version for the psp.

Wouldn't that be kewl.?

awhile back someone made skype for psp but it only worked with 2.6...... and wouldn't that basically be a cell phone for psp seeing skype can make free nation wide calls.... i really dont think they will be able too plus psp don't have usb power out

Are the socom mic and the talkman mic the only mics that can be used with psp? I won't have my PSP until next month, but in the pics I see that the talkman mic connects through the usb/remote port. I also see two holes on the top of the PSP, is there one hole for a mic and one for a headset? I don't like the look of the socom headset, I do like the talkman mic, but i'm not sure if it will work with other games.

anyone know anything about it, can U use any mic with PSP, or only these two?

the two holes arent for anything electrical, just screw holes for covers etc.

and IMO there's gotta be a power out somewhere on the thing

wow, I feel like a dork. Anyway, so I guess i'll see if I can get the talkman mic alone, I don't think I care much for the actual game.

No, Im gonna use that mic for SOCOM, I see that someone already used it for that. I just didn't like the SOCOM headseat. I have my own speacial headphones that I like. Anyway, apparently in October the PSP is gonna support VOIP, so then I can use it to basically skype people whenever I feel like it.

Sweet...
