Default plastic crack!

Well i was walking around with a psp, just paid for it. Got it from a friend. And i took it out too change the song, and notice a crack at the bottom of my screen. Not the LCD but the plastic. Is their a way to get a new stock plate for it? is it easy to fix?

I mean i can live with it, but it will prolly get bigger if stressed ect.

Thanks for the help

Josh

You can buy some sweet ones at decalgirl.com . I wouldn't mind getting a clear face plate for mine...

very easy.... and if you are carfeul you can make it so you barely do anything to the void sticker lift it up carefully on the left side and it will reveal a screw you have to take out 5 screws. The only hard part would be taking the analog stick out and putting it to the other faceplate but still thats easy. There turtorials online. Just search "Replacing PSP Faceplate"

some things I can recrommend are the silver screws in the battery case, leave those in unless going under the lcd tray, I made a mistake and put the wrong screws there, and it made dark spots on the lcd screen. and make sure the analog stick doesn't come apart, I'm still not sure how the spring in there went on. other than that it's easy, I've never replaced it, but I've taken it on and off many times.
