Default WIFI MAX - IP address error

hello every1

I have recently purchased a wifi max for my PSP in order for me to be able to take it online. Everything was going so well as I followed along the
instructions from the mannual i recived when purchasing the wifi max.
However when i try to connect to the internet using my PSP everything is
fine untill my PSP trys to obtain the IP address. My PSP on screen states
"the attempt to obtain the IP address timed out". and thus fails to connect.

Why is this may I ask, I would be very greatful for your help and please
reply ASAP.

many thanks

Adam

this is a problem many people have had with the wifi dongle (including myself), try datel's troubleshooting page, go through the steps in the guide or try downloading the updated zydas software.

The wifi wasnt working on my laptop, but i tried it on a pc without installing the max media software and only installing the zydaas software and it works ok now (mega slow - going to buy a wireless router)
