4GB, 8GB MSD?

When are these likely to come around and will they be very expensive? 2GB is what? $199?

2 gig can be brought for what, 60 quid on ebay tops. u could always have the 4 gig hard drive which gives double battery, thats bout 100. i rekon the 4 gig will be 189, and the 8 gig 259. there only a certain point they can go to, otherwise no matter how big they was people wouldnt buy them. if there was a 1000 gig memory stick for just 1 grand, not many would sell becuase its impossible for the normal players to buy them

holy sh**, a 1tb, think of the posibilties. you'd never have to worry about memory but i think 1000 bucks is a little out of my range. plus id lose it or something :? $1000 for something the size of a quarter is wild.

I really do think that in the future they are going to have memory cards that are from 500-1000. Maybe the far future, but it'll happen.

yeah, and if its in our lifetime, were going to look back and say "man i cant believe there were only 8gb sticks!" happens in every generation as technology progresses...

its gunna be crazy because our generation (those who are gamers now) will be gamers for life, even when were old, ya know. unlike old peops nowadays, because they really didnt have much technology in their lifetime (my gramps told me stories all the time.). so ill be like 80 years old and still playing my video games. but they might come out with new stuff that we may not understand like old people and computers. man im getting carried away.... um.... :mrgreen: MR GREEN!!! (that was so dumb...)

Solid state hard drives above 1TB are already around but just not available to the public. It's new technology and not very reliable but when they get it right it will usher a new dawn of storage in.
