lol 50 years thats funny back in 1995 i had a computer it had a 2gb had and now were up to 1-5tb harddrives (yes there are 5tb hd's only in server's but oh well) it wont be more then lets say 4-7 years before were up into the 30-40tb range at least thats what i think

There wont be a MS pro duo no more than, something like 30gig, as that is the maximum "physical" amount they can hold.
A thread was posted about these, in digital cameras. But a new card could be designed to hold much more. I read about card that use light as storage, it seperates light and then back and i dunno all complex stuff, but they are supposed to hold alot. |

Progress eh!!!
I can remember eight tracks car stereo's as the latest hot thing for cars!!! FM stereo radio stations not just AM. Tapes. 8" winchester floppies for my pc. 5.25" floppies. High Density floppies. 10 meg hard drives One of my digital watches has more computer power than my old Model 90 IBM did.... and I paid a fortune for that just to play DUNE hahahaha. ...hmmmmm those were the days.... and not so long ago either. Technology advances and as it does we need more and more complexe software applications etc and this intern demands higher and faster storage devices. I think the only limit to the size of the storage device will be the amount of time it takes to access that data. Would I buy a 1TB memory card for the PSP... no I don't think so, not at £1000 I would not... the memory stick would be more advanced than the PSP and perhaps a slightly bit over kill for my own personnel needs. Would I get one if they were much cheaper... hell yes. Considering the past consumer product advances over say the last twenty years just imagine what were going to be able to buy over the next ten years. The technology that the modern police/military use is incredible, with new this and improved that.... James Bond would be in awe.... and although the military applications are MEGA bucks the domestic consumer market in really big so advances are going to be great for all of us in the long run. the harddrive is too bulky. you cant fit your psp in a case with that thing on. id rather get the stick when the price is right.
