I dont know the difference between pro and pro duo but it does have magic gate. For the price, it's hard to pass up (its in canadian funds) as a SONY 1 gig card is 119.99 and this is sandisk and only 60 bucks more

I imagine that should be plenty... the question is if it will store enough music to keep me happy without bringing my cd's...

1 gigs can hold a crap load of mp3's. im pretty sure you wont have any problems with memory if ur only putting game saves and music on it.

Plus my brother has an ipod and he only listens to something like a quarter if THAT of the music... I may just have to tighten my belt and pick and choose instead of the old itunes dump! :P

im trying to get a memory stick thats compatible with a PSP too, and i also live in canada ^^

i think when the 2GB and 4GB sony memory stick comes out it will drag the 1GB memory stick's price down...

and besides, u dont absolutely need more than 1GB memory stick, even if u keep movies on it... u watch it and then delete it rite? theres no point in keeping it in the memory stick
