Default clear face plate problem

hey i bought a psp today and i bought the starter kit with it so that i can have the analog and clear face plate...so my psp doesn't get messed up

well i took the clear face plate out and put it on the psp and i was like how is this going to stay on? without falling off

then i noticed two holes on the top and bottom where it looked like i could put a screw in to hold it on but no screws came in the pack...can anyone tell me if i really am supposed to screw it down and whether or not the screws come in the pack?
