does this also help for preventing scratches at all? or just do this every once in a while to make them less visible?

ok, toothpase contains microscopic (dead) microbe shells called diatoms, which provide a substance known as hydrated silica. now, as you may know glass is made of burified silica, and diatoms are made of hydrated ( cuz diatoms live in water, then they die and thier hard microscopic shells fall to the bottom of the sea) silica, and act almost as a "micro glass"; filling in the scratches (small scratches) in your psp screens, works on skipping CDs too! not a preventative measure! use at own risk, but there is little risk involved!
