Default USB option

Just a thought on something that would be a great option for PSP, why isn't there a portable flash drive option that you could plug into the usb port of the unit? I understand that the business end of flash drives out there are standard size and the connection on the PSP is smaller but how difficult can it be to make a flash drive with this smaller connection? It would be great to purchase a 4gb flash drive you could keep on your key ring and just dump a few movies (or even music) on it and plug it right into the PSP for use whenever, wherever. 8)

This unit should be in production if its not. Anyone else see why this wouldn't work or know if they are already working on it? :?:

there are like 80gig external hard-drives that can be plugged ito the psp, a bit bigger than a flash drive though.

Blackfoot>>> You have a good idea, but there is one thing wrong with it. The USB port on the PSP doesn't have power out. In other words it doesn't supply power to another device. And vice versa. Seeing as it has its own power source, power from the USB cable doesn't charge the PSP. Also, the computer "sees" the PSP as a slave device. The PSP wouldn't recognize the flashdrive as anything anyways. Sorry to bust your bubble. Others have brought up the same idea.
