Default My memory stick keeps crashing my computer!

hi i'm new here and i got this sort of problem... -.-' and it would be great if people will help me...

i've got a sony 1gb high speed pro duo memory stick. and i've tried it out on my psp and everything works fine until i connect it to my computer... and it crash the computer completely! i have formatted the memory card and it works perfectly fine on my psp but crashes the computer when connected.

i've also tried to use a card reader to try and detect it but it crashes it aswell.

any clue what might be wrong?

Does Japan have warranties? Does Japan have Best Buy's, and Circuit City's, etc.? Sorry, I know nothing about outside countries.
