Default 4GB memory adapter

Most of you are aware about the 4 gb memory adapter and a larger battery. I've read all I can about it but i cant find one first person account of it. Has anyone bought one or seen it on a PSP.

He is either implying you are lying and would use the 4gb space for isos or he is implying you are missing a comma inbetween the words homebrew and movies and are refering to homemade movies. I can't see what is funny about either myself but there you go.

Default Datel 4GB HDD

Well, I bought one about a week ago when I saw it in our local best buy. I paid about $229. I am going on vacation and wanted to load up on some movies for the trip. Right now I have 6 movies on it and still have 1.2 gig left so for that it is really nice. Some have complained about the size or the added weight but for me, I don't have a problem with it. It makes it easier for me to hold on to while gaming.
So now for the complaints. It is very slow when you transfer movies. It will take about 30 minutes to copy a 500 meg movie with USB 1.1 ports. After using memory sticks for about 6 months prior to purchasing the HDD it was a huge let down. Also the cable coming out of the side of the memory stick slot can get in the way when playing games. It is a little annoying but not overly so. When I first bought my PSP, I purchased a USB transfer cable that can also charge the battery. Well, with the add capicity battery, I have to plug in the Sony charger now instead. Again only a minor point.
It also comes with Media Max software which can be used to transfer movies and music to the PSP. To be honest, I haven't installed it because I use Video Vault for PSP and PSP Video 9. So I can't comment on it other than to say that it is included.

HTH,

Greg
