Default just brought a 1gb scandisk pro duo

i formated it in my psp. everything went well and it said that the card is formatted. then i tried to put it into my card reader in my notebook, but i cudnt access it. wen i tried to access it, it says"the card is not formated, would u like to format it now?", if u say no, u cant access the card, if u say yes, it says that the card cannot be formated. what can i do??
