Default I HATE PELICAN PRODUCTS!!! AAARRRGGG!

Ok. I called Pelican Customer Support. I told them about the face armor not protecting my PSP's face and about the big scuff mark I have on it now.

The dimwit said, "Well, this is not covered under warranty because the Face Armor is designed to protect the PSP's face from damage with its padded surface."

I said: "Ok. But if the item is designed to protect the PSP's face and it doesn't, then that should be covered under warranty."

He told me about how he knows that its supposed to work because he has a PSP with 7 games and a Face Armor and its never failed him.

So I told him that I'd post on every last PSP forum where millions of PSP users read to find out what's going on in the PSP community so that everyone know how bad this product is and that if anyone asked me about it I'd tell them how bad it was.

The guy said, "Do what you have to do sir."

I said, "OK" and hung up.

LET THE POSTING BEGIN!!!

Plus I'm calling consumer affairs.

Isn't it only supposed to protect the face i.e. the screen from marks? And, how did you scuff it in the first place?

No, the packaging and web page clearly say that its to protect the FACEPLATE.

It got scuffed BY the ARMOR. The edge of it did it.

Wel, it says "protect against" not "prevent all" so I don't think you'll be gfetting your money back.

My hands can protect me against a bomb, but they're not going to do me any good.

Well, it didn't PROTECT.

Again, it didn't say "prevent". It could "protect" your PSP like the wind protects me from a bullet.

The wind doesn't protect you from a bullet.

If I'm a bodyguard and my client gets shot, I only TRIED to PROTECT. I didn't actually PROTECT.

Not only did the face armor not protect, but it also CAUSED the damage.

Since the bullet represents the damage, YES.

Protect doesn't mean prevent. How many times do I have to say that?

And besides, it never said it didn't cause more scratches. Are you sure you put it on the right way, and carefully, and took it off the same?

There's so many variables out there, so I can't take one side or another.
