The PSP is a USB slave device which means it can only be seen by devices you plug it into - it can't see devices you plug into it. There is some development at the moment that might change this though.
On a side note there is a rumour of a PSP on the horizon that will include a 50gb internal hard drive. However, with the recent ISO loader that allows virtually every commercial game to run off a memory stick (storage space permitting), Sony might nip this drive idea in the bud as there will almost certainly be a hack at some point which will allow you to use this drive as a storage for your game 'backups' to run. It goes without saying Sony and game developers wouldn't want this to happen. http://news.gamewinners.com/index.ph...comments/2524/

50GB! Whoa! If they come out and They're not too expensive, I'll definently trade mine in! I mean, I can't use homebrew anyway right?
