Default MicroSD to Pro Duo converter?

So, seeing as an 8mb MicroSD card only runs about 50 bucks, i was looking into converters that are used to change MicroSD to Pro Duo...Do these actually work? I found a couple here and there, and am praying they do..Because that would be a cheap alternative

If i missed this question earlier in the forum i aplogize, but i didnt see it.

Hi mate ,
I have a 4gb m2 card with a pro-duo adapter and it works fine with no problems. Just pop it in the adapter then format as normal in your psp.Simple and cheaper than standard pro-duo cards!!!

Ok so my next question IS there a MicroSDHC to Pro Duo converter that doesn't physically stick out of the psp? I'm having trouble finding the actual specs for converters. If someone has a link, or can help to point me in the right direction i would appreciate it. I really want to get a psp, but i want to find out all the info first o.o

Hi again this kind of converter adapter would work-

Micro SD / T-Flash to MS Pro Duo Adapter Converter 8GB - eBay, Mini SD Cards, Mobile Accessories, Phones. (end time 24-Jul-08 07:29:11 AEST)

try see if you think it's similar to the one you wanted

Chris

Would something like this work?
"PhotoFast CR-5400 Dual Socket Micro SD(HC) to Memory Stick MS Pro Duo Adapter"
www_ videogame.brando.com.hk/prod_detail.php?prod_id=00534&dept_id=006&cat_id=0 07

If so, how much memory would the psp support? 16GB or 32GB?

Thanks.

Yes they work but yr write speeds may be slower like the 16gb m2 I mentioned in my thread. They were initially intended for mobile phones or digital camera's so the write speeds are set for such.
Typical time to write a 750mb AVC video to the card is 8 mins this is due to compression and speed of card. I have a 8gb official Sony pro-duo and it writes the same file in 3 mins, read speeds are not affected. Speeds are roughly same for both cards. Hope this is of help
