Question First ever portable

Hi.
New member here.
I am buying a psp slim in the next couple of days. It will be my first ever handheld console and I'm after some advice.

I've been looking at all the accesories available and am a bit lost....so many of 'em.
I'm guessing I will need a case, screen protector and memory stick. Can anyone recommend good ones?
I noticed the Joytech PSP Slim & Lite ArmorLite Case on play.com for £6, any good?

Is it a good idea to get a larger analogue stick?
I've also been looking at grips that are similar to dualshock handles. Are they useful?
I have fairly short fingers, the dualshock is a perfect size for me.

I will probably only play it at work on night shift, so not worried about transporting it. I go everywhere by motorbike and can't play on that!

I am completely useless with computers (too old to understand them) and never had any other systems apart from PS1, 2, 3 so not too worried about emulators (though would love to play FF 7, 8, 9 at work)

I live in the UK so limited for game stores I guess.

Thanks for any help and looking forward to exploring the site.

hahaha I think your avatar is going to give me nightmares or something lol. I suggest you get GTA:LCS - -no PSP owner should be without it. It was the game that changed portable gaming after all, showing what the PSP can really do. Well, if you like the GTA games anyways. If you want something simple, fun get LocoRoco. It still makes me smile everytime I play it.

Default Is it moving?

Thank you.
The avatar is not moving on my pc. Looks quite odd in reverse too.
I bought a load of games on ebay this week.....
GTA vice and LCS, burnout, SSX, wipeout, ridge racer, chili con carnage, midnight club 3, colin mcrae and hot shots golf.
Trying to get silent hill and loco roco, but keep getting outbid.
Really want god of war and FF crisis core, but will wait 'til cheaper.
Cheers.

Don't get God of War, the game is too short and there's no replay value. Good choice with the GTAs.

Hi mate,
Get Silent Hill Origins it'll take you a good while to complete it. Also when you complete it you unlock new attributes and stuff to play again. Buzzin game. Should be more Horror type games for psp. I got a spare copy of Crisis Core if yr interested in buying PM me!!!
