Default PSP Battery

Does anyone know where I can buy a genuine Sony psp battery, whether normal life or long life for the original PSP not slimline?
There are so many fakes out there that it is impossible to find a genuine source and places like play.com only stock 3rd party replacements.

nah, i've contacted Sony and you can't buy them direct from them not even from my local Sony shop.

I live in the UK and was looking for a genuine Sony battery for the phat and had no luck, i had looked everywhere. In the end i imported it for £15.

And Had no LOOK. Hehe

Anyway you seem to import alot of stuff. I would have thought that you would be able to buy sony batteries. Even if you had to get them from the online place.

I gave up trying to find an official battery as I had the same problem so I opted for a Datel Battery. I've used it for a month and found it has around the same power as the original battery. So if your looking for a suitable replacement I'd recommend PSP Max Power Slim Battery from Datel. Check the link:
