Default Please Help!

OK, so i just bought a used memory stick for my psp. i put it in and hooked my psp jup to the computer with the usb. it shows no folders on the memory stick. im guessing they were deleted when the stick was sold to the store. can anyone please tell me what to do? im guessing i just need to create folders and name them, but i dont know what to xcall them.

you will need to format the memory stick to recover thefiles, there is a option to format it in the psp settings

OR just make ones called COMMON, MOVIE, MUSIC, SAVEDATA, & PICTURE.

ok thanks for both of yojur help. i used herms method jujst becajuse i had already saved a game, and didnt want to have to move it to the comp so i wojuldnt lose it and stuff. its good to know about the format option anyways though so thanks. i just have two questions. what is the common folder for? and also if i download a demo from sony, what folder does that go in?

common is for general downloaded data. a download from sony should go to SAVEDATA but if not then COMMOn.

did the folder creation work? btw there are some slight variations of those names that are still acceptable

yes thy worked so thanks for your heelp. I looked it up and found out that game demos go in another folder called GAME.
