im sorry but 300$ is a bit much. i dont see the sense in paying almost double what the psp costs for a mem card. i had a sandisk 2gb i paid 30$ for (black friday sale) at gamestop and it help like 10 albums, 5 movies, some pictures and still had like 280 some odd MB for saves, etc.

To be fair, $300 isn't much for that size of memory if you bought a 2gb for $30 to have the same storage capacity you'd need to buy 8 of 'em costing $240 in total and i'd rather pay $60 extra to be able have everything on one stick than carry around 8

That said, I'm still gonna wait till it drops in price

well yea but on a web site i know of if i bought 8 2gb for 19.02 each (free shipping) it would cost 152.16 so i would still have 147.84 to buy more. if i bought 300$ worth id have around 15 of them at 2gb each thats 30gb. i understand it is convenient to have everything on one card but i think 300$ is just too much for a 16gb memory card & even if you wait for it to drop in price it isnt going to significantly reduce untill a 30 or whatever gb one comes out. its just you pay 200$ for the system you'd expect the "accessories" to be cheaper than the system. i know they can be used in cameras, etc. but lets face they are marketed to psp users. im not trying to start a arguement or anything just stating my opinion.

I remember when 1gb sticks were over 100 dollars. Memory prices usually drop drastically and pretty quickly, so if you can wait, you should be able to get a bigger memory stick for a reasonable price.

Yea i got my 1gb for £60/$120 back in the day but now you see them going for less than £10/$20
