HI Im planning to buy a PSP
but I have some questions......

Is the silver ice color PURE white like in the picture?

Or is it that annoying silver color that has like little silver dots on it (hope its not)


Another question is...Is that the PSP slim or the normal (I beleve Its the slim but just making sure)

Also what accesories do you recomend me to get

The silver has a metallic finish to it (little sparkles, don't know if it's the "annoying" dots you're talking about, I think it is though).

It is a new Slim and Lite.

Those are all good accessories, I have a car charger but I never use it, so I don't think it's all that useful, but you might use it more. I'd also suggest getting a nice soft cloth for cleaning it.

As far as hacking your PSP I'm guessing you mean custom firmware, in that case just look at the stickies in the homebrew section on this forum. That would be a great place to start.

Look at the 4th image....Is it that PSP or the PSP in the 5th image with sparckles

They're both the PSP, IMO it doesn't look that sparkly in real life as the 5th picture. I think it could just be the lighting that's making it look that way, but it's not that dramatic. It's more like the 4th picture, you can see the sparkles more depending on what kind of light you're looking at it in.

I have been reading this forum for a few months now, just never posted. But I wanted to reply to this thread. I was in your shoes a couple months ago; I knew I wanted a PSP Slim & Lite for christmas but was undecided between the Ice Silver and Black. I originally chose black, because I didn't like the metallic look of the ice silver. I (hesitantly) asked my wife to get me the black one, remembering I was constantly wiping finger prints off the original phat that I owned briefly when it first came out. Anyway, my wife could not find the black anywhere and asked if I would settle for the ice silver (Daxter bundle). So I did and I am so glad. I love the Ice Silver! Like VAMP said, it looks alot better than what the photos reveal (I think the metallic flakes in the ice silver are exaggerated in the photos possibly due to the flash from the camera) I love the looks, better than the black. The ice silver also does not show finger prints! Finally it is the best bang for your buck. You get the 1gb memory card and the Daxter game is actually pretty fun. I basically play sports games and shooters, but am really enjoying Daxter. You also get the Family Guy UMD, which I haven't watched yet, but will on my next business trip. I hope this helps you out in your decision.

Well good for you, hope you enjoy it for a long time to come. BTW, I have the black PSP and my wife has the silver, and I agree that the black shows way to many fingerprints, and you can hardly see them at all on the silver.
