Default Changing your game pad button?

I just bought my son a new PSP star wars bundle and also the Premier PAck travel set for PSP.

The pack includes a new button that is bigger and apprently he would rather use the button that comes with the pack rather then the one that comes with the PSP. The button Im referring to is the one that when you are looking at the PSP screen is to the lower left hand corner.

I do not know how to get the old one out and do not want to break the PSP. I tried prying at it and putting a good bit of pressure on the old button from underneath but itsnot budging. Does anyone know how to do this?

I'm pretty sure you're asking about the analog stick. If that is what you're talking about just give it a good tug. You're probably not pulling it off hard enough, don't be scared, they're meant to come off.

If you got it from a shop perhaps you could get them to do it? That way if they damage it they'll have to replace it!
